- Computers. David's first computer was a 64k Kaypro II with dual
floppies. He purchased it to free him from the mundane paperwork chores
associated with the restaurant business. Little did he know that little computer
and all those that succeeded it would consume more time than all the paperwork
of all the restaurants in Western Montana. It started with a search for software
specific for restaurants. Finally a frustrated salesman told him to just buy a
copy of dBaseII and write his own. Now, several computers, restaurants,
restaurant specific software and 17 years later, David has opened another
business to share his years of computer experience with others. Visit the

- History
- David's adolescent years were spent growing up in rural eastern
Pennsylvania, the Main Line area outside of Philadelphia, Paris France,
Switzerland, the Pocono Mountains and Baltimore, MD. After graduating from St.
Paul's School in Brooklandville, MD, attending University of Montana and a four
year stint as radioman, second class in the Navy, David settled in to the
position of second cook and assistant manager of his mother and stepfather's
fast food restaurant in Hamilton, MT. That was 1972. It was there he meet his
first wife. Together they bought the restaurant and transformed it into the best
fine dining restaurant in Montana, d'Aurias Restaurant. Separating in 1987, they
have each settled into other restaurants. David at Stavers Restaurant and Pearl
to the Alleycat Bistro in Missoula.
David's International upbringing was be seen everywhere in the grill and in
his food. Not devoted to one style or another, he prepared his menus according
to what he enjoyed. It was not unusual to see Thai and Greek food together.
In 1997 David moved to Las Vegas to accept a position with
Baja Fresh Mexican Grill. He is currently
the Regional Manager of Safety and Information Technologies.
In 2000 He met Jean and they were married in June of 2001.
